A warning to those planning a trip to a Nebraska State Recreation Area this summer. Don’t be surprised to see more Nebraska State Patrol troopers making the rounds. Lt. Jeff Wilcynski says they are conducting special DUI enforcements in certain areas.
Wilcynski says they are conducting a special enforcement in an attempt to cut down on accidents involving alcohol.
Wilcynski says there may be check-points at entrances and visitors can expect to see a saturation of patrols, especially on weekends. Their goal is create a safe space where everyone can have fun this summer.
