This year’s Nebraska State Fair had a two-and-a-half percent increase in attendance compared to the year before.
Spokesman Shaun Schleif says nearly half go each year, but about one in five came for the first time.

A survey of Nebraska State Fair attendees give the event high marks.
Schleif (shlife) says it is great to see customer satisfaction around 90-percent.

Schleif says they expect higher attendance and a two-dollar admission price increase on the weekends will boost revenue when numbers are finalized.
