Nebraska State Fair Approaches

The start of the Nebraska State Fair is around the corner. Five years ago the event moved from Lincoln to Grand Island and fair officials say attendance continues to improve. Marketing and Sponsorship Director Shaun Schlef (sh-LIFE) says they are still working on getting the metro Omaha crowd to make the trip west and attend the fair.

Schlef there is entertainment and fun around every corner.

With a larger entertainment budget the fair will offer big name concerts and other events. Keith Urban, Huey Lewis and the News, Jake Owen, Jerrod Niemann and Tony Orlando are on this year’s concert line up. The fair starts August 28th and runs through September 7th.
