Nebraska Soybean Board is offering a matching fund program for businesses interested in a dust suppressant made from soybean oil.  Known as “Dustlock” the soy-based product improves dust control and road stabilization.  The Nebraska Soybean Board will match up to $10,000 per location.  Nebraska Soybean Board’s Demand and Utilization Coordinator Wesley Wach shares more information about the program.

Wach says there was a great deal of interest in the product following Husker Harvest Days when the Nebraska Soybean Board applied the product on the roads leading into and around the farm show site.  Companies and other interested individuals have until April 28th to apply to the Nebraska Soybean Board for consideration.  Wach tells of the most likely type of companies that may want the soybean oil dust control.

Wach says the soybean dust control product is biodegradable and will not harm wildlife or run-off.  For additional information contact the Nebraska Soybean Board’s website.
