The Nebraska Sorghum Producers Association is holding a series of outreach meetings this week. Executive Director Nate Blum says it all culminates on Thursday when they’re in Sydney and North Platte meeting with Congressman Don Bacon.

He says these meetings are precursors leading up to their weighing in with policy markers as they begin crafting the new farm bill.

Blum says following this week’s events they’re reminding producers that their National Group is having a Virtual forum coming up March 1.

Blum says anyone wanting more information about sorghum can go to their website (at nebraskasorghum.org). He says you can also access them via social media via twitter, sound cloud, Instagram, linked in,, face book and you tube.
