Proposals to cut property taxes will be back before the 2020 session of the Nebraska legislature.

Senator Tom Briese of Albion, one of the leading proponents of cutting those taxes, says this year’s session was frustrating….

A business incentive bill that was tied to the property tax plan was also killed. Briese says those two have to pass together….

Briese says they need to pull a lot of elements together..

Briese says hearing and public meetings will be held this summer to better explain those ideas.
