State tax revenues in Nebraska fell about ninety-five million dollars below the forecast, or about two point two percent.
Governor Pete Ricketts has asked state agencies to be prepared to trim spending.
Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill says while revenues are falling short, it has been worse in the past…..

Larson says lawmakers will also keep an eye on it….

Larson says they will have to watch the ongoing trends later this summer….

Larson says if the trend continues, it would make any future tax cut discussions very difficult.
