Nebraska Senators will be debating bills that would roll back property taxes and also provide more state aid to schools.
Senator Tom Briese of Albion says more money to schools will not automatically result in lower property taxes…..

Briese says his bill would put a spending cap on school board budgets…..

Briese says school boards will have the ability to exceed the cap if necessary……

The overall plan would send back two point five billion dollars in state aid to schools by 2030.
