Members of Congress return to Washington next month…and return to one of the biggest votes in years: the vote on the Iran nuclear deal.
Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer, a Republican, says she will vote against the deal promoted by President Barack Obama, a Democrat.
Fischer says the deal is one of the main topics of discussion as she tours the state during the August recess. . .
The sentiment is shared by her Republican colleague, Senator Ben Sasse, who says opposition will grow as people learn more about the deal. . .
Sasse also will vote against the deal when Congress returns to work in September.
