Nebraska lawmakers will attempt to find a compromise this week on property tax reductions for Ag producers.
The issue has been the priority of Governor Pete Ricketts, but no deal has yet emerged.

Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill says any changes in property taxes depend on changes to the education funding formula…..

Larson says education is funded differently depending where schools are located…..

Larson says he thinks the deal on the table is the best they can do this year….

The Nebraska legislative session is entering the final few weeks of the legislative session.
