Nebraska Senators Give Property Tax Relief Final Approval

Nebraska legislators had one more round of debate Thursday on LB1107, the property tax relief and business incentive plan, before passing it on a forty one to four vote.

Senator Curt Friesen of Henderson says he is concerned that the plan can’t be funded in the future….

Senator Lou Ann Linehan of Elkhorn, one of the prime sponsors, says it gives tax dollars back to those paying them….

The bill now goes to Governor Pete Ricketts for his approval.
