Senator John McCollister of Omaha is sponsoring the measure that proposes using Medicaid dollars to buy private insurance for some 77-Thousand Nebraskans who would be required to pay a small premium. McCollister hopes to persuade enough senators to get it through the Unicameral and overcome an expected veto from the governor. . .
