Millard Nebraska State Senator Rick Kolowski supports changing the age that public education is made available in Nebraska and he wants residents to vote on it.  He wants three-year olds to be able to start public school.

He says this expands educational opportunities and creates better long term outcomes for Nebraska students.

Kolowski wants the Legislature to place the proposed constitutional amendment, LR270-CA, on the November ballot.  He says it the amendment has the support of experts in early childhood education and the new system would be phased in over several years.
