Thursday, the Senate Agriculture Committee held the confirmation hearing for USDA Undersecretary nominee for Regulatory and Marketing Programs Greg ibach. Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse introduced Ibach to the committee.

Sasse says Ibach has done a great job serving as Nebraska’s State Ag Director and will carry that work ethic if he’s confirmed as USDA Undersecretary.

Sasse says farmers and ranchers and consumers will all benefit if Ibach is confirmed.

Ibach has served as Nebraska’s State Agriculture Director since 2005 and was the President of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture last year.
