Nebraska Senators are in the process of dividing up committee assignments for the 2015 session.
District 40 Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill says he is in line to be Chairman of the General Affairs Committee.

Larson, who was on only the Appropriations Committee last year, says he will probably take on some other assignments this year.

Larson says he will use his past experience in the new post.

Lawmakers return to Lincoln next week.
