Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer says she remains opposed to any effort to promote a third party candidate for president.

Fischer says she opposes efforts by other fellow Republicans, including Senator Ben Sasse, to push an alternative to Donald Trump

 

Fischer rejects suggestions Sasse’s efforts to find a third-party candidate will hurt Republicans in the General Election.

Fischer refers to a resolution approved at the state Republican convention that strongly opposed efforts by any Republican elected office holder to encourage a third party candidate.
