Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer says it’s understandable agricultural leaders worry about a trade war with some of the state’s top trading partners.
She says threats of a trade war with the two top trading partners, Canada and Mexico, as well as with the European Union are raising concerns. . .
Fischer says the president seems to go “in and out” on his trade policy. . .
Fischer is cautious with any criticism of President Trump, a fellow Republican, saying it is important to maintain a good relationship with the White House so he will listen to the concerns of Nebraskans.
