In a meeting with Norfolk residents last week, Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer answered questions about the EPA’s proposed Greenhouse Gas Rule. Fischer was instrumental in extended the comment deadline for the rule and says that the EPA is after broader authority over the energy industry.

Fischer says that there should be a balance in terms of regulating our energy sources.

The proposed rule under the Clean Air Act would require stricter regulations of emissions generated by the nation’s power producing plants.
