Nebraska Sees Steady Population Growth

Nebraska saw steady population growth over the last year as counted by the US Census Bureau.

The Center for Public Affairs Research’s David Drozd at the University of University-Omaha says population growth has been strong enough to calm any fears of losing a Congressional seat. . .

Nebraska added more than 11-Thousand people over the last year, good enough growth to rank 20th among the states.

Drozd says businesses often incorporate population as part of their locating process. . .

Nebraska has a population of 1-point-93 million. Drozd doesn’t see Nebraska reaching two-million by 2020 but does believe the state will reach the mark shortly thereafter.
