The state revenue forecast has been revised upward by about seventeen million dollars, and Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts says the money should help property owners.
Appropriations Committee chair Senator Heath Mello says there is a funding shortfall in K-12 education that could use the additional money outlined in the revised forecast.

Mello also says the Property Tax Credit Fund seems to be the best option now for any property tax relief.
