Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts will be reinstating health restrictions as COVID-19 cases rise across the state…
The state now has over three hundred twenty people in the hospital, which is an increase of about forty percent over the peak hospitalizations in May.
Ricketts says they are tracing the source of the latest outbreak…
The restrictions include hospitals keeping a ten percent margin of staffed beds if they want to do elective surgeries; indoor gatherings limited to fifty percent capacity; and bars and restaurants will prohibit standing room.
Ricketts says its necessary to do this to maintain hospital capacity…
The restrictions go into effect on Wednesday.
