Davenport, Nebraska rancher Mark Jagels is serving on the recently formed International Trade Committee for the Nebraska Agriculture Department. Jagels says one of the first projects he’s involved with is one started by the former International Trade Director that involves fostering trade with Taiwan.

He says all the committee members are focused on building upon what former trade director Stan Garbacz accomplished.

Jagels says he wants to share his experience as a rancher and as a former Meat Export Federation Chairman, as well as his past work with the U.S. Grains Council and Nebraska Corn Board.

Jagels says their committee is meeting on a weekly basis.
