A Sherman County Nebraska rancher who’s operation is near Litchfield in the central part of the state has left as the chairman of the HSUS Ag Advisory Group. Kevin Fulton says HSUS CEO Wayne Pacelle removed him from the group. He says a minority of the HSUS membership is promoting veganism and giving agriculture a bad name.

He says a minority of HSUS members are hurting the organization and pushing forward a radical agenda.

Fulton says he tried to convince HSUS leaders to make changes that would reflect a more reasonable and ag friendly approach by the group.

Fulton says six other farmers have left HSUS advisory councils in the past year.
