Wednesday was the original deadline for Pierce Nebraska Elevator President Brian Bargstad to submit his investment plan to the State Public Service Commission for re opening the elevator.  Public Service Commission Grain Division Director John Fecht says he spoke with Bargstad’s attorney Lance Carlson who’s working on the plan.

Fecht says following his discussion with Carlson he agreed to give the Elevator investors until next week to submit their re opening plan.

Earlier this month the Pierce Elevator had to surrender their grain license due to financial difficulties. Since then Bargstad has been working trying to put together an investment plan to re gain the licenses and re open the facility.
