Nebraska Property Tax Payers Getting Credit Notices

Property tax payers in Nebraska will soon get notices about how much of a tax break they received this year.
Legislative Speaker Galen Hadley of Kearney says post cards are being mailed to 700-Thousand property owners showing them how much of a tax break they get. . .

It will cost the state 274-Thousand dollars to send out the notices.

Hadley says the legislature isn’t done with property taxes. . .

The Property Tax Credit Relief Fund now totals more than 400-Million dollars in the two-year state budget.
