Nebraska Professor Says Iran Deal Needs Consideration

A Nebraska professor says Congress needs to give the Iran nuclear agreement careful consideration and not just reject it outright.

University of Nebraska-Omaha Dean of International Studies Tom Gouttierre says there are reasons to pursue a renewed relationship with Iran.

Gouttierre points out our strained relationship with China has eased over the years.
He acknowledges we have our deep-seated differences with Iran, but says we must make an effort to work them out.

Gouttierre says he has heard too many quick pronouncements about the deal before anyone had time to study it.
