The Natural Resources Conservation Service in Nebraska is announcing they have funding available for conservation easements in counties damaged by flooding and other natural disasters. Nebraska NRCS Easement Program Manager Bryan Euse says this funding is for emergency watershed easements.

He says once an application has been filled out, then it’ll go through a ranking process before selection is made for funding.

Euse recommends those interested call their local NRCS office for an appointment and bring their deed with them when they come in to apply.

Applications are being accepted through October 31 of this year.
