After reaching a peak deployment of roughly 1,000 members seven years ago, the Nebraska National Guard has just seven people serving overseas now.
Major General Daryl Bohac says plans are already being made for a large-scale deployment in October.
Bohac says 300 Air National Guard members have already been notified that they’re going to the Middle East in October.
Bohac says another group of Army Aviation members will be deployed to the Middle East in January.
