Part of the state slogan is Nebraska Nice – but apparently not on the roads. Studies show that Nebraska is the 15th worst state in the nation for road rage and aggressive driving. Anna Venditte with Cornhusker Driving School in Omaha sees examples of bad behavior every day.
Venditte tells drivers to lose the “me first” attitude and play it safe.
Statistics from the Nebraska Safety Council shows guns are used in 30 percent of all road rage cases. Venditte says that is why it is important to just move on instead of confronting another driver. Statistics show that more men than women say they experience road rage or aggressive driving on a daily basis and the worst day of the week to experience it is Tuesday.
