The Nebraska Unicameral wrapped up the 2017 session this week with a budget gap filled, and a number of bills carried over to next year.
District 40 Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill says fixing the almost one billion dollar budget problem was the major achievement…..

When the main budget bill was passed, Larson abstained. He says it was because there weren’t enough cuts…..

Larson says state spending levels should be ok through the end of the year…..

Lawmakers were unable to find any consensus on tax reform.
