The Nebraska legislature passed a bill on Friday that combines a twelve-week abortion ban with restrictions on gender-affirming care for minors. Conservative Senators got just enough votes to end the filibuster, then pass the bill.

Governor Jim Pillen said he will sign the bill, which will become effective on October first.
