A bill that limits medical care for transgender young people in Nebraska had an amendment added to prohibit abortions after twelve weeks of viability.
That came after more than six hours of sometimes loud and emotional debate in the Unicameral.
Senator Megan Hunt of Omaha supported a move to over ride a ruling allowing the amendment to be debated….

The amendment and bill got the necessary thirty three votes to pass but will have to come back for another round of final debate and passage.
