Nebraska lawmakers return to Lincoln to start the 2016 legislative session.
It appears that property tax reform will again be one of the main topics.
District 40 Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill says there won’t be much change until Senators agree to modify the state aid to education formula…..

Larson says many rural school districts don’t get much state aid….

Larson says without a fix to that formula, there won’t be enough money for much property tax relief…

Larson will be chairing the General Affairs Committee in the 2016 session.
