Nebraska lawmakers have rejected a proposal to alter legislative term limits.
Senator Paul Schumacher of Columbus proposed expanding the current limit of two, four-year terms to two, six-year terms.

Yet, Senator Sue Crawford of Bellevue doesn’t see voters embracing the change.

The measure fell short of the votes need to advance.
