Home buying is a process that most people go through, but few people fully understand. The Central Nebraska Housing Developers are hosting educational workshops that are designed to teach anyone interested how to buy a home. Melissa Krysl is the Marketing Specialist for the CNHD and says the workshops will cover the process from start to finish.
Krysl says funding assistance is available to those who complete a REACH-certified workshop and meet other requirements.
Krysl says that around 60% of the workshop participants end up buying a home.
She says workshops are held each month for potential homebuyers. This month, they will be held on July 16th and 23rd in O’Neill, and both nights are necessary for REACH certification. A preregistration fee of 50 dollars is required, and anyone interested is welcomed to visit the CNHD website.
