Nebraska’s unemployment rate remains at 2.6 percent in June, which is the lowest unemployment rate in the country.
David Rosenbaum, associate director with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Bureau of Business Research says Nebraska has a highly qualified work force.
Rosenbaum says the low unemployment rate creates some problems.
Nebraska leads the states with the lowest unemployment rate, followed by North Dakota and Utah. The national unemployment rate is 5.3 percent.
