The number of people who were killed on Nebraska’s highways during the first three months of this year is down significantly, according to Rose White at Triple-A Nebraska.

White says they’re some of the best figures since the World War Two era.

White says the study found traffic fatalities in urban areas of Nebraska were down 53-percent compared to last year, while deadly crashes in rural areas were down 43-percent.
