The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is reporting the first flu-related death of the season.
State epidemiologist Dr.Tom Safranek says the child who died had other respiratory viruses as well.
Safranek says if you think you have the flu, you should see your doctor right away.
Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache and fatigue.
