Representatives of business, religious, and other organizations are urging the Nebraska Congressional delegation to leave in place a program allowing the children of illegal immigrants to remain in the country.
Many believe the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA program, could be threatened by the change in administrations.
St. Paul United Methodist Church Senior Pastor David Lux says the country needs to retain the DACA program. . .

Representatives from more than 60 organizations have signed a public letter being sent to the Congressional delegation.
A DACA recipient Alejandra Ayotitla says the program has helped those like her who cannot remember living in any other country. . .

Those signing a public letter to the Nebraska Congressional delegation say DACA youth have contributed greatly to Nebraska.
