A new report shows groundwater levels are up in Nebraska, on average, six inches.
Aaron Young with the Nebraska Geological Survey says some parts of the state saw increases of ten feet.
He says the latest monitoring period ended before the heavy rains last May, so that impact is not known yet….
Young says the ground water levels may still be rising….
Young says a lot more rain is needed to make-up for the 2012 drought, when levels dropped ten to 20 feet in some places.
