Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is in Japan this week on a trade mission. He says there’s a lot of excitement over a possible Trans Pacific Partnership agreement between the 12 nations involved including Japan and the United States. Ricketts says he’s visited with a Japanese trade group about the TPP.
Rickett says TPP is critical for Nebraska’s economy and Agriculture industry.
Ricketts and the Nebraska delegation is joining several other state’s representatives in attending the Midwest U.S. Japan Association Conference. Other states participating include: Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
