Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has appointed former state Senator Tony Fulton as the new state tax commissioner.
Ricketts says Fulton can help his administration craft a pro-business tax climate. . .
Fulton, who is from Lincoln, will begin his new duties January 4th.
A private policy advisor to Ricketts will leave the private sector to become the governor’s special adviser for external affairs.
Jessica Flanagain had been the governor’s senior outside adviser, privately paid by Ricketts. . .
In another staff move, Chief Operating Officer Felix Davidson will become a part-time contract employee, advising on special projects.
