Governor Pete Ricketts is fine after being involved in a traffic accident.
It happened just before 7 a.m. today in the area of 13th and Washington streets in downtown Lincoln.
The governor and a state trooper, who was driving their vehicle, were not injured…

Ricketts says he was reading at the time and didn’t realize what was going on until the trooper hit the brakes…

The driver of the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
Police cited 56-year old Richard Deollos (day-OH-lohs) for failure to stop.
