Nebraska Game and Parks is spreading the word about the state’s new mountain lion management plan.
Program manager Sam Wilson says upcoming meetings will focus on its goals and the animal’s impact.
Wilson says the Pine Ridge area has about 60 mountain lions but they live in other areas too.
Wilson says the plan deals with researching the animals as well as harvesting them when appropriate.
