More than 7,000 students, advisors, and other guests will converge at Lincoln, Nebraska this week for the 95th annual Nebraska FFA State Convention. The state FFA convention begins today (Wednesday) and will continue through Friday evening. Madison Doeschot says the FFA convention will feature speeches from retiring FFA state officer team members, as well as from national officers, and other special guests. She says the convention will highlight FFA members in various judging contests.
Doeschot says there will be hundreds of FFA members also competing in various leadership development speaking contests.
Doeschot says there will be 687 Nebraska FFA members who will be awarded their state FFA degree. The state degree is one of the highest honors awarded to FFA members.
