Nebraska FFA Advisor Recognized for Tornado Recovery Efforts

Wisner Pilger FFA Advisor Mark Schroeder is being honored this week at the Nebraska State FFA Convention in Lincoln. Schroeder is being given the Gary Scharf Helping Hand award to recognize him for his and his chapter’s efforts in helping vicitms of the Pilger tornados that hit last summer. He says many need to be credited for their work helping those hurt by the disaster.

Schroeder says other FFA chapters also pitched in to help those devastated by the event.

His chapter is busy this week with 43 members attending state convention. He says three will be receiving proficiency awards while eight will be getting their State Degrees on Friday.
