Nebraska Farmer Hosts Trade Round Table Discussion

Nebraska grain farmer Ryan Ueberrhein hosted U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman and Congressman Brad Ashford on his operation near Valley this week. Ueberrhein says he gave the two a tour of his farm, and it was great to have two high level officials on hand to visit with him and fellow producers about trade.

Ueberrhein says he and other farmers attending the tour thanked Ambassador Froman for his work on trying to get the Trans Pacific Partnership approved.  He says following the tour, Ambassador Froman and Congressman Ashford hosted a round table discussion updating various commodity and farm groups on trade progress with the TPP and with Trade Promotion Authority.
