Nebraska Soybean Board member and Newman Grove farmer Greg Anderson has been elected to the National Biodiesel Board of Directors. He says two of their near term priority issues include pushing for approval of the tax extenders legislation which includes the biodiesel tax credit and getting out robust RFS 2014 volume requirements.
Anderson says despite the uncertainty of not having the biodiesel tax credit renewed yet this year, the industry is doing well as far as production goes.
Others joining Anderson on the Board are Chairman Steven Levy of Sprague Operating Resources, Ron Marr, vice chairman of Minnesota Soybean Processors and Mike Cunningham of the American Soybean Association.
