Nebraska Farm Bureau officials will be working with State Senators on various ag legislation over the summer. Director of State Government Relations Ansley Mick says they want to find a property tax relief measure that can pass in 2020.

She says one of the challenges will be finding a funding mechanism for a property tax fix.

Mick says other interim legislative issues they’ll work on include natural resources, rural broadband and branding.

Mick says property tax relief has been a priority for Farm Bureau for several years now.
