Farm Bureau is still working with members of Congress in the Lame Duck session to get the tax extenders legislation approved. Nebraska Farm Bureau National Affairs Coordinator Jordan Dux says there’s a good chance of passage despite the possibility of a Presidential veto.
Dux says due to the bi partisan support for the measure he thinks they’ll be able override any Presidential veto if it happens.
Dux says any disagreements between the President and Congress over the extenders package is minor compared to other issues.
